Your mentions of staff saying you were breaking arbitrary rules made me chuckle! If I remember correctly, Roko said it had been something of a "crypto Davos" and, while I don't have particular image of the Davos conference in my mind, I guess that matches. Like... it's non-obvious, but places or events for rich people are often uncomfortable enough so that said rich people have to spend money to soften the edges for themselves. I suspect that might be that way by design.
Thank you for a great post! I now have a 10x better understanding of what Zuzalu was. I also like it probably 2x more (I guess the "5-start resort" and "Russian oligarchs" items cap that multiplier at 2 for me instead of letting it to be 10).
